About the event

A long-planned event is becoming reality. Benjamin Fink from Vienna is coming for this extended August weekend to guide you through a time truly filled with everything—knowledge, physical practice, experience from acrobatics, calisthenics, and applied physiotherapy. This retreat blends Ashtanga Vinyasa practice and acrobatics into a dynamic yet grounded experience, offering space for focused practice, playful exploration, and deep rest. Held in seclusion in the heart of nature, it offers simplicity, community, and movement as a way to reconnect with yourself and with others.

The retreat is designed for physically curious practitioners who enjoy dynamic movement and learning through direct experience. Mornings are dedicated to Ashtanga Vinyasa practice, providing the structure, rhythm, and continuity of a traditional method. Afternoons open into an exploratory space with handstands and acro yoga, supporting trust, coordination, strength, and lightness. No previous experience with acrobatics or acro yoga is needed—each session is taught progressively and in an accessible way. The program includes three morning Ashtanga practices, plus one handstand session and one acro yoga practice in the afternoons. The schedule is intentionally unhurried, so you’ll have plenty of time to rest, integrate, take walks in nature, slow down, and enjoy the surroundings.

Accommodation is simple and budget-friendly, which supports a relaxed, grounded atmosphere. Participants can choose between shared sleeping in a communal loft space or camping (tent or van). This retreat isn’t about luxury—it’s about returning to what matters: movement, nature, food, and time spent together. Group size is limited to 8–14 participants.

Fresh vegan brunches and dinners will be prepared for us on site throughout the stay. Between practices, you’ll have ample time to relax, connect, and enjoy the quiet rhythm of the natural world around you.

You’ll very likely discover new movement possibilities and gain a fresh perspective on your yoga practice. Expect a friendly atmosphere, practical tips and tools, personal guidance—and, above all, plenty of laughter and fun.

About Benjamin:

Benjamin discovered his passion for yoga practice during his trip to India in 2011. The stepping stone to yoga knowledge was a teacher training course in the Sivananda tradition, but then he became acquainted with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and found another style of yoga that interested him. He regularly travels to Mysore in South India, where he studies under the guidance of great names such as BNS Iyengar, Vijay Kumar, Saraswati Jois and Gregor Maehle. However, he also discovers and devotes himself to other forms of bodywork. His daily bread is not only the practice of yoga, but also acrobatics, weightlifting training and weight work. Since he is a physiotherapist by training, working with the physical body is the most crucial for him. He applies his medical knowledge as a therapist in his yoga teaching practice. He describes his teaching as experimental Ashtanga Vinyasa practice.

In addition to regular lessons and workshops, he specializes in applied anatomy and training science, as well as handstands, forearm balance positions, and vinyasa, the art of which he develops in his courses.
