Retreat centre
in Bela nad Svitavou

The Centre of meditation and personal development is located on a secluded hill on the edge of small village overlooking a valley.

Place

The house is on a hill and it gives a really beautiful romantic bird’s-eye view perspective overlooking the entire valley surrounded by fresh natural greenery of the castle Svojanov. It is a wonderful space to develop calm and slow down, to practice yoga, dhyan (meditation) and also other activities connected with personal development.

Accomodation

We have shalla for about 14 people, 2 showers and 2 bathrooms available for our guests. There is a small kitchen upstairs with a kettle and an electrical cooker. The kitchen can be used to prepare tea and small snacks. The space of the attic in newly refurbished and used as a sleeping area. It is a comfortable space for about 15 – 20 people to sleep. The space does not have private rooms, our philosophy is the simplicity and sharing like in Indian dharmsalas (accommodation for the pilgrims) where the big room is shared dormitory style. The only private room we have is for special guests, lecturer guests and yogis. There are new clean and comfortable mattresses, bed sheets and pillows available for everyone attending the workshop or retreat. We will also provide you with a cover and blankets for comfortable sleep. Bringing your own sleeping bag is strongly recommended.

Jurta

We also have a new outside circular space, yurt with wooden floor which is used for some activities as well as sleep for those who may be interested. In case you would like to have privacy you can bring your tent and use our spacious garden space.

Food

During the retreats and workshops there is an amazing cook Svetlana from (Good Karma Catering) who prepares fresh delicious vegan sattvic food twice a day.

Other

There is also an opportunity to book private sessions in a sauna and swimming pool in a small hotel near by (12 km).  We usually also have a physiotherapist and a masseur present on the long intensive retreats.

Down in the village (400 m) is a typical village grocery shop. The nearest bigger towns are Polička (15 km), Svitavy (17 km) and Letovice (14 km). You can also visit a lake Křetinka which is just 8 km away from our place or a castle Svojanov (5 km).
